-This is a full-day comprehensive tour with many stops including -

One of the largest Man-made Forests in the Southern Hemisphere. Here we take a drive through a section
of the forest - sometimes we are able to find the wild horses that live here. There are many photographic
opportunities on this tour.

We drive the magnificent long highway of Ninety Mile Beach.
Tide permitting we stop to gather Shellfish or watch local fishermen netting or surfcasting.

          
 

The Quick Sand Stream which leads to Ninety Mile Beach. Steep sand hills to climb and
play or Toboggan down.(Toboggans are on the Coach)

In Maori belief, Cape Reinga is the Departing place of the Spirits of the recently deceased.
It is also the dramatic meeting place of the Tasman & Pacific Oceans.
There is a small shop & the most Northern Post Office in New Zealand is at Cape Reinga.

A Beautiful Sandy Bay nestled in the hills on the eastern side of Cape Reinga.
This is where we have our Picnic Lunch.

We visit the vivid white Silica sands of Rarawa Beach on the East Coast, North of Houhora.

A stop at Awanui to look at huge Kauri Logs & Stumps which have been extracted from local swamps and are
thousands of years old. Furniture & Crafts are also on display. No entry fee
